After at least 2 years of trying to find the right Golden I was lucky enough to run across a man in an airport with the most beautiful Golden I had ever seen. Even though I was running to catch a plane I approached this gentleman and asked where did you get your dog? He told me from a breeder in Canada; given that I was in a rush all I had time for was to take the name of the kennel and breeder. Then began a search through the internet to try to find this said breeder. Needles to say after hours of searching I found him and a litter was expected shortly, I was elated yet skeptical, can you really trust (1) a breeder that you've never met and know nothing about (2) buying a dog thousands of miles away. Well after speaking to Gianfranco and getting to know how involved with every step of the process he is, from selecting just the right male to the right foods to feed (3) then seeing the photos of the results; all of the skepticism went way.

I have now been the proud owner of the most beautiful golden retriever you could imagine. I get compliments or stopped whenever we are out and about, people asking the same question "Where did you get your dog"? or "What a beautiful Golden". He is loveable, smart, affectionate, protective, and loves to just roll around on the floor with my son. It was one of the best decisions of my life...and Gianfranco and Milano Kennel are a part of our family and always available to answer my myriad of questions..."What do I do about bad breath"? What's the best method for potty training?"
