We first heard about Milano kennels through Tanya Rockefeller.  We very much admired her dog Riley who we met while walking  at Crissy field near the golden gate bridge in San Francisco. We were planning on raising  a Golden puppy and Tanya told us about the virtues of the Milano line.  I contacted Gianfranco, by e-mail and he told me that he was planning to breed that spring.  He indicated that we would have to come to Québec to pick up the dog.  Although it would mean a major trip for us we appreciated the fact that he was a breeder who would not ship a puppy as air cargo.
 
We have been exceedingly delighted with Della who is now six months old.  She is a light Golden female beautifully proportioned, and very smart.  We have been clicker training her and she has been exceedingly responsive. Whenever I take her out in  public she is the object of great admiration. Though alert and active she has a mellow disposition, and we feel very fortunate to be raising such a wonderful dog.
